About The Position
Back Creek Golf Club is looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Banquet Cook to join their team. This role involves creating delicious meals for guests attending various events such as corporate events, celebrations, and weddings. The position is part-time, with the possibility of full-time employment through available a la carte shifts in the tavern. Requirements
- High School Diploma
- 2 Years experience in restaurant and banquet arenas
- Must be neat and present a professional appearance at all times
- Must have excellent communication skills
Nice To Haves
- Culinary School Degree preferred
Responsibilities
- Determine how food should be presented, create decorative food displays
- Ensure proper portion, arrangement, and food garnish
- Carve buffet meats as requested by guests
- Support banquet and buffet by ensuring adequate stock of all items
- Follow policies and schedules for the operation in the kitchen facility
- Assist in ensuring the cleanliness of the facility is of the highest priority
- Help in the coordination of all events and activities with the operating departments of the Golf Course
- Follow standardized recipes set forth by management
- Ensure any customer complaints are handled efficiently and tactfully
- Present a favorable image at all times
