Requirements

Experienced in banquet, restaurant, or hospitality service
Strong leaders with excellent communication and organizational skills
Guest-focused with a commitment to service excellence
Able to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment
Professional, dependable, and team-oriented
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
Must obtain and maintain all required food handling or alcohol service certifications as required by state and local regulations
Must maintain all required certifications in accordance with company guidelines
Stand and walk for extended periods, up to 8 hours per shift
Frequently lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds of banquet equipment and supplies
Perform repetitive motions including bending, reaching, twisting, and kneeling
Assist with room setup, table placement, and event breakdown
Work effectively in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
Maintain professionalism and focus during large-scale events and busy service periods

Nice To Haves

At least 1 year of banquet, food and beverage, or hospitality experience
Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred
Experience working weddings, conferences, meetings, and special events
Knowledge of banquet service standards and event operations

Responsibilities

Lead banquet team members during meetings, weddings, social events, and catered functions
Coordinate event setup, service, and breakdown according to event specifications
Serve as the primary point of contact for banquet staff during events
Ensure all banquet service standards are followed and guest expectations are exceeded
Assign duties and provide direction to banquet servers and support staff
Assist with training and mentoring banquet team members
Communicate effectively with culinary teams, event coordinators, and management
Monitor event progress and address service issues promptly
Ensure banquet areas remain clean, organized, and properly stocked
Support a positive team environment and exceptional guest experience
