About The Position
As a Banquet Captain, you will oversee the proper execution of service during banquet events, manage banquet operations across both Clubhouses, and ensure exceptional Member and Guest experiences. Additionally, focusing on maintaining the highest level of hospitality and service standards, supervise and train staff, and assist in inventory levels for food and beverage service.
Requirements
- Flexible schedule
- Working knowledge of food & beverage service
- Understanding of culinary arts
- Ability to motivate staff to perform at an exceptional level
- Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with members, guests, management and staff
- Knowledge of Banquet Events Orders (BEO's)
- Knowledge of F&B software and Microsoft Office
- Ability to work varying shifts including weekends, holidays, and evenings
- Work well as part of a team
- Excellent customer service skills
- Love for hospitality
- Good communication skills
- Ability to memorize information easily
- Ability to read and follow directions well
- Quick on your feet
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Prefer doing the right thing, instead of what is easy
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management
- Private Club experience
