This is an auxiliary position within Sage Catering at UBC, part of CUPE 116. The Banquet Captain assists catering managers and coordinators with event execution, supervising and allocating work to service staff such as waiters, waitresses, and bartenders. The role involves acting as a liaison with clients, monitoring staff performance, resolving issues, and assisting with event setup and tear-down. The position also supports restaurant operations and carries out related duties as necessary.
