Requirements

The strength to lift, push and pull big objects up to 50lbs (23 kg) which can also involve bending and kneeling
A good grasp of reading, writing and basic math
The flexibility to work night, weekend, and holiday shifts
Compliance with local laws on food handling and serving alcohol – you’ll need to be above the minimum age required and fluent in the local language
Great communication – you’ll be warm, welcoming, and easy to talk to

Responsibilities

Set up the bar area according to event specifications, including arranging bottles, glassware, ice, and other necessary supplies.
Ensure the bar is clean, organized, and well-stocked before, during, and after events.
Prepare garnishes, mixes, and other drink ingredients.
Transport bar equipment and supplies to and from event locations.
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently, following standard recipes and portion control guidelines.
Provide friendly and professional service to guests, addressing their needs and requests promptly.
Monitor guest alcohol consumption and ensure responsible alcohol service.
Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently.
Maintain accurate inventory of bar supplies and report any shortages or discrepancies.
Restock bar supplies as needed during events.
Properly store and handle alcoholic beverages.
Break down the bar area after events, cleaning all surfaces, glassware, and equipment.
Return bar equipment and supplies to designated storage areas.
Dispose of trash and recycling properly.
Provide excellent customer service, addressing guest inquiries and concerns professionally.
Maintain a positive and professional demeanor at all times.
Adhere to all local and state liquor laws and regulations, including verifying legal drinking age.
Follow company policies and procedures regarding alcohol service.
