About The Position

To deliver efficient, high-quality beverage service at banquet and event functions by preparing and serving drinks in accordance with established standards, while providing attentive, professional guest service. The Banquet Bartender ensures accuracy in cash handling and inventory control, maintains a clean and organized bar setup, and supports the overall success of events through strong communication, teamwork, and adherence to safety and responsible alcohol service guidelines.

Nice To Haves

High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred.
2-3 years of bartending experience

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes, portion controls, and service standards
Set up and break down banquet bar(s), including stocking inventory, glassware, garnishes, and supplies
Provide prompt, courteous, and professional service to guests, always maintaining a high level of hospitality
Verify guest age and ensure compliance with all alcohol service laws and responsible beverage service practices
Accurately handle cash, credit transactions, and maintain proper cash bank procedures when applicable
Monitor and control bar inventory; restock as needed and report shortages or discrepancies
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area before, during, and after events in accordance with health and safety standards
Communicate effectively with banquet captains, servers, and management to ensure smooth event execution
Adapt to varying event sizes, timelines, and guest needs in a fast-paced environment
Follow all company policies, standard operating procedures, and safety guidelines
Assist with special requests, custom drink preparation, and event-specific beverage requirements
Support overall banquet operations as needed, including assisting team members to ensure successful event service
