About The Position

Our busy holiday season is approaching, and we are looking for friendly, energetic, and responsible individuals to join our team as Temporary Part-Time Banquet Bartender! This is a great opportunity to earn extra income during the holiday season while working exciting weddings, holiday parties, corporate events, and special celebrations in a professional hotel environment.

Requirements

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to remain calm and professional during busy events
• Must meet all applicable legal requirements for serving alcohol
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Nice To Haves

• Previous bartending, restaurant, or banquet experience preferred
• Bartending certification or alcohol-service certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to banquet guests
• Provide friendly, professional, and attentive service throughout each event
• Set up portable bar with the appropriate items (as needed): garnishes, glasses, ice, all liquor requested for function, mixes, straws, napkins, etc.
• Maintain bar supplies throughout the function.
• Communicate effectively with the banquet team and event staff
• Verify guest age and follow all applicable alcohol-service requirements
• Monitor alcohol consumption and follow responsible alcohol-service practices
• Using POS system to ring bar purchases for guest's drinks.
