About The Position

The Sheraton Eatontown Hotel is seeking an experienced Banquet Bartender who is responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages during banquet events in a courteous, efficient, and professional manner. This role ensures guests receive outstanding service while maintaining a clean, safe, and organized bar area. The Sheraton Eatontown Hotel is part of the Hotels Unlimited family of hotels. Requirements

Minimum 1 year of bartending experience, preferably in a banquet or event setting.
Must be of legal age to serve alcohol.
Knowledge of drink recipes and mixology techniques.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs.

Nice To Haves

Certification in responsible alcohol service (e.g., TIPS, ServSafe Alcohol) preferred

Responsibilities

Set up and break down banquet bar according to event specifications and hotel standards.
Mix, garnish, and serve drinks in a timely and accurate manner based on recipes or guest preferences.
Provide excellent guest service by engaging with guests, answering questions, and suggesting beverages.
Monitor guest consumption and practice responsible alcohol service.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar, including stocking and replenishing supplies.
Follow cash handling and drink ticket procedures accurately.
Work closely with banquet staff to ensure smooth coordination during events.
Adhere to all hotel safety and sanitation policies, as well as local and state alcohol laws.
Report any equipment issues, incidents, or guest concerns to the Banquet Manager promptly.
