About The Position

The Banquet Bartender is responsible for beverage service to guests in a timely manner to ensure a quality experience. This role involves taking beverage orders, preparing drinks, selling various amenities and food, and actively monitoring guest alcohol consumption to ensure responsible service. The position also requires maintaining positive guest relations and performing various bar maintenance duties.

Requirements

• Prior bartending experience preferred.
• Knowledge of bar equipment, alcohol laws and regulations.
• Ability to maintain a calm and pleasant attitude in high stress situations.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a valid state gaming license.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks.
• Ability to stand, lift, bend, push and twist intermittently.

Nice To Haves

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Taking beverage orders from guests and servers.
• Preparing drinks correctly and returning orders in a timely manner.
• Selling cigarettes and various amenities and food to guests.
• Actively observing guest alcohol consumption and signs of possible intoxication, and enforcing company policy regarding limitations.
• Developing and maintaining positive guest relations through helpful and interactive guest transactions.
• Stocking bar items, filling ice bins, emptying garbage, mopping floors, and cleaning bar mats and coolers.
• Performing other duties as assigned.
