About The Position

Bankruptcy Processor is responsible for conducting research to determine if an account should be coded as bankrupt in the U.S. Bank system of record. Incumbent assumes responsibility for the processing of Bankruptcy Notifications including entering of data, formatting and producing appropriate documentation, and file maintenance. In addition, they process notices to include: pending bankruptcy correspondence, discharges, dismissals, 341 notices, transfers, trustee updates, case closures, etc. Processor gathers and verifies data while transferring it to standard format within system of record. Additional duties include reviewing docket information to determine current status of the bankruptcy case. In addition, the Bankruptcy Processor works multiple assigned reports and performs basic management of electronic files. Possesses strong written, communication and customer service skills. The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Typically four or more years of clerical and customer service experience
  • Proficient computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages including Microsoft Office applications
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities
