This role involves preparing and processing payments for Lockbox customers according to account specifications. Key responsibilities include opening and preparing deposits, keying deposit batch information into the Lockbox application, capturing check and document images using high-speed imaging equipment, and completing data entry based on customer-specific instructions. The associate will also complete check keying for dollar amounts and MICR line information, process credit card transactions using a merchant services application, and review and prepare completed deposits for return to customers. Additionally, the role requires preparing, balancing, and sending customer data transmissions. The successful candidate must understand and adhere to the Company’s risk and regulatory standards, policies, and controls, identify and escalate risk-related issues, promote an inclusive environment, and maintain M&T internal control standards, including implementing audit points and addressing issues raised by regulators.
