Core BankOmaha, NE

About The Position

The Banking Center Manager is responsible for translating the bank's relationship-banking strategy into consistent, high-quality execution at the local level. This role leads a banking center as both a business and a service platform — ensuring operational excellence, deep client relationships, and strong team performance. A banking center is not simply a place where transactions occur; it is a delivery engine for trust, service, and growth. The Banking Center Manager leads through presence and influence — coaching teams, embedding service standards, and ensuring that strategy shows up clearly and consistently in day-to-day client experiences. Success in this role requires equal fluency in people leadership, client advisory, business development, and operational risk management. At the Foundational level, the Banking Center Manager I leads a smaller or standard-size banking center. They apply the role confidently on routine matters and draw on guidance for its more complex, sensitive, or highly regulated dimensions while building consistency in day-to-day execution.

  • Represents the center in routine community activities and builds local connections with guidance; identifies community opportunities that align to center goals and follows through on agreed commitments.
  • Runs core center routines and task execution with support; monitors daily workflow, follows up on open items, and addresses routine obstacles before they affect clients or teammates.
  • Understands center priorities and adjusts plans when common conditions change; uses available reporting and leader guidance to connect team actions to deposit, loan, service, and risk goals.
  • Champions the service non-negotiables across the center and models high-touch service in routine client interactions; sets clear expectations for timely follow-up, professionalism, accuracy, and ownership; handles common client questions and concerns while seeking support on sensitive escalations, complex relationship recovery, or situations with higher risk to the client experience.
