About The Position

This role is responsible for overseeing the operations of banking center(s), ensuring sales targets and growth goals are met, while maintaining compliance with banking regulations. The manager will lead efforts to provide excellent customer service and foster a positive work environment for employees.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work-related experience required
  • Minimum three years of Banking Center Manager experience
  • Strong leadership, sales, and coaching abilities
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Extensive knowledge of banking operations, compliance, and security
  • Proven ability to meet business development and growth goals
  • Solid understanding of financial products and services, including loans
  • Strong community involvement and networking skills
  • Ability to maintain a professional atmosphere and foster a positive team culture
  • Must be registered with the National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) under the SAFE Act of 2008.

Responsibilities

  • Drive sales, achieve growth targets, and ensure team's sales efforts align with bank objectives.
  • Review employee performance, conduct evaluations, and recommend salary adjustments.
  • Coach and develop staff, address performance issues, and ensure adherence to expected behaviors and operational standards.
  • Champion the implementation of strategic initiatives and ensure effective use of operational systems.
  • Implement business development strategies to meet aggressive growth goals.
  • Serve as a mentor to colleagues, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Participate in internal committees and corporate initiatives.
  • Act as the bank's representative in the community, building strong relationships with customers and local businesses.
  • Participate in community involvement and potentially take on leadership positions in local organizations.
  • Develop and execute a structured community engagement and business growth plan.
  • Manage daily branch activities, ensuring accurate and efficient service delivery.
  • Safeguard assets and ensure compliance with all bank policies and procedures.
  • Oversee the origination, coordination, and closing of consumer loans.
  • Maintain a professional and business-like environment within the branch.
  • Ensure compliance with key banking regulations, such as the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA).
  • Be available to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, as needed.
