About The Position

This is a 4-month student position for Winter 2027, focused on Banking Analytics. The role supports the Banking Analytics & Business Strategy Support team, which handles credit card acquisition analytics, dashboard development, customer insights, and analytics for compliance initiatives. The position involves significant cross-divisional collaboration and exposure to various business aspects. The student will assist analysts with campaign test design and post-campaign analysis to deliver banking insights.

Requirements

Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a related discipline
Demonstrated superior analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills
Previous programming experience (e.g. Python/SAS/R/SQL)
Strong proficiency of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.)

Nice To Haves

Databricks or Hive would be an asset
Data visualization development using Tableau, Power BI or similar tooling is an asset

Responsibilities

Aid in the development of marketing campaign targeting, incorporating test and learn strategies for digital/email/traditional channels based on objectives obtained through written and verbal communication with our business partners
Explore and analyze data from multiple databases and resources
Develop new data visualization dashboards while enhancing and maintaining existing reports; utilizing platforms such as Tableau
Generate ad-hoc analysis based on banking data and transactional behaviour, enabling our business partners to make informed decisions
Update and enhance knowledge documents that help support the Banking Analytics & Business Strategy Support team
