Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Two or more years of teller experience that includes sales experience with established goals

  • Strong organizational skills and enjoy focusing on details
  • Comfortable with Windows-based applications, calculators, and basic PC tasks
  • Solid math, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities
  • Communicate clearly in both verbal and written formats, and use polished phone and email etiquette
  • Build relationships easily and bring excellent customer service to every interaction
  • Able to work branch hours as scheduled
  • Able to lift and move up to 25 pounds as part of essential job functions

Responsibilities

  • Process client transactions accurately and efficiently while following established policies and procedures.
  • Provide an excellent client experience and represent the Bank with professionalism and care.
  • Help clients achieve financial goals by referring products, services, and Bank specialists when appropriate.
  • Serve as a leader in sales, operations, and client service within the branch.
  • Support branch operations, including mentoring, training, and coaching members of the teller team.
  • Work collaboratively to complete assignments with quality and timeliness, with or without direct supervision.
  • Maintain strong personal reliability and punctuality.
  • Engage in in-person and phone conversations to identify and sell Bank products and services, meeting minimum referral standards.
  • Open new accounts using the Banner Way sales process, when assigned.
  • Ensure full compliance with policies, procedures, security requirements, and regulatory standards.
