About The Position

Banner Bank is hiring a Banker to serve as a welcoming face of the branch and help clients reach their financial goals. The role involves processing transactions accurately, providing excellent client experiences, and introducing clients to relevant Bank products and services. The Banker works collaboratively with the branch team, follows established policies and procedures, and complies with security requirements and government regulations. The position requires working branch hours and may involve lifting up to 25 pounds. Travel is up to 0%.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Entry-level experience in cashiering, bookkeeping, client service, or sales with established goals.
Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Basic PC knowledge, including Windows-based applications, and calculator use.
Comfort with basic math, negotiation, and problem-solving.
Effective communication skills, including proper phone and email etiquette.
Ability to build relationships and deliver excellent customer service.
Ability to work branch hours and lift up to 25 pounds as needed.

Responsibilities

Process client transactions accurately and efficiently while following established policies and procedures.
Provide an excellent client experience and represent the Bank as the face of the branch.
Assist clients in achieving financial goals by referring Bank products and services.
Refer clients to other Bank specialists when appropriate.
Work effectively as a team contributor on assignments.
Maintain personal reliability and punctuality.
Sell Bank products and services through in-person and telephone conversations, meeting referral standards set by the Manager.
Comply with Bank policies, procedures, security requirements, and government regulations.
