About The Position

This is a full-time Janitorial Floater position requiring rapid deployment to various bank branches across Detroit and the surrounding Metro Area. The role involves significant driving, often covering 50-100+ miles per evening, and performing high-security cleaning tasks independently. The ideal candidate must be adaptable, trustworthy, and comfortable working in various locations with changing schedules. The shift is in the evenings, typically from 5:00 PM to 2:00 AM or later, and the workday is not considered complete until all tasks are finished and approved by a supervisor.

Requirements

Dependable, insured vehicle capable of daily, long-distance travel across the Metro area.
Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
Comfortable driving in various weather conditions (Michigan winters, rain).
Proficiency with smartphones for GPS and mobile apps to clock in/out.
Stamina for frequent transitions between driving and working.
Trustworthiness (background check is mandatory).
Adaptability to a daily changing schedule and unknown work locations.
Ability to stay until the job is completed to 100% satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Respond to last-minute "call-outs" by driving to assigned bank branches.
Efficiently manage travel between multiple sites daily.
Perform high-security cleaning, including sanitizing ATMs, teller lines, glass partitions, and private offices.
Work independently at various locations, often being the only person in the building.
Keep vehicle stocked with essential cleaning kits.
Clean, sanitize, and stock restrooms and break rooms.
Perform floor maintenance (sweep, mop, vacuum).
Manage trash removal and liner replacement.
Dust furniture and fixtures, and wash windows as needed.
Disinfect high-touch areas.
Replenish paper products and track cleaning supplies.
