About The Position

This is a full-time evening janitorial floater position that requires significant travel across the Detroit & Greater Metro Area. As a Floater, you will be part of an emergency response team, responding to last-minute call-outs and driving to various bank branches daily. The role involves performing high-security cleaning, working independently, and managing your own travel between sites. A reliable, insured vehicle and a valid driver's license are mandatory, as is comfort driving in all weather conditions and proficiency with smartphone GPS and apps. Trustworthiness is essential, as you will be handling keys and alarm codes for financial institutions, and a background check is required. The schedule is adaptable, with the specific work location changing daily.

Requirements

Reliable, insured vehicle capable of daily, long-distance travel across the Metro area.
Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
Comfortable driving in Michigan winters, rain, and heavy construction traffic.
Smartphone proficiency for using GPS and mobile apps to clock in/out.
Ability to go from "car to work" multiple times a night.
Trustworthiness; a background check is mandatory.
Adaptability to a schedule that changes daily.

Responsibilities

Respond to last-minute "call-outs" by driving to assigned bank branches across all Michigan counties.
Efficiently manage your own travel between sites.
Perform high-security cleaning including sanitizing ATMs, teller lines, glass partitions, and private offices.
Work independently at various locations, often being the only person in the building.
Keep your vehicle stocked with essential cleaning kits.
Clean, sanitize, and stock supplies in restrooms and break rooms.
Perform floor maintenance including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming.
Manage trash removal and liner replacement.
Dust desks, furniture, and fixtures; perform window washing as needed.
Disinfect high-touch areas.
Replenish paper products and track cleaning supplies.
