About The Position

The Bank Customer Information Management (CIM) Specialist plays a key role in the bank’s operations by ensuring customer identification requirements are met in accordance with regulatory standards and internal policies. This position is responsible for reviewing documentation, verifying identities, and maintaining accurate records to support efficient and compliant onboarding processes.

  • Effective communication skills for working with internal teams.
  • Ability to learn bank systems and compliance tools quickly.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Nice To Haves

  • 1+ years' in banking, finance, or a compliance-related field preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Review customer documentation for completeness and accuracy of identifying information.
  • Verify customer identities using established documentary (e.g., government-issued IDs) and non-documentary methods (e.g., public databases).
  • Escalate discrepancies or missing information to senior team members for resolution.
  • Maintain accurate electronic and paper records in compliance with retention requirements.
  • Stay informed on CIM policies and procedures and participate in training sessions.
