About The Position

The Credit Analyst will evaluate the financial condition of individuals and businesses applying for lending credit with the financial institution to determine the risk involved.

Requirements

Represent the bank in a professional manner during and outside of office hours
Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent work experience
1+ years of progressive credit experience

Responsibilities

Analyze credit data and financial statements of individuals or businesses to identify the degree of risk involved in lending money or extending credit
Compare financial data to similar businesses in terms of liquidity, profitability and credit histories
Compile information, complete loan applications, and compose reports detailing the degree of risk involved in the loan or credit request and make recommendations
Ensure loan requests are prioritized and deadlines are consistently met
Prepare and present credit reports
Provide accurate information and sound judgment on the credit worthiness of assigned accounts
Ensure all loans are made in adherence with federal, state and local financial regulations
Participates in community activities to promote the organization
Represent the bank in a professional manner during and outside of office hours
Demonstrate flexibility to perform every other duty as assigned
