As a Bank Branch Manager (Financial Center Manager), you will serve as both a leader and a producer, driving branch performance while coaching a team to deliver exceptional client experiences. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent leadership experience
  • NMLS registration (or ability to obtain)
  • Proven leadership experience in retail banking or a similar environment
  • Strong sales, business development, and relationship-building skills
  • Solid understanding of banking operations, products, and regulatory requirements
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills
  • High level of integrity, accountability, and professionalism

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily team huddles to align on priorities and drive results
  • Achieve branch performance goals through personal production and team leadership
  • Generate new business through outbound calling, community involvement, and local networking
  • Build and deepen customer relationships by identifying financial needs and providing tailored solutions
  • Partner with internal teams to connect clients to mortgage, commercial, and investment solutions
  • Ensure every client interaction reflects SmartBank’s commitment to service excellence
  • Support associates in resolving complex client needs and concerns
  • Promote meaningful, needs-based conversations that improve clients’ financial wellness
  • Manage daily branch operations to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and compliance
  • Maintain strong knowledge of policies and procedures and coach team members accordingly
  • Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements and internal controls
  • Monitor branch activity, reporting, and workflows to optimize performance
  • Maintain a professional and welcoming branch environment
  • Oversee facility upkeep, supplies, and product displays
  • Partner with leadership and HR on staffing, communication, and employee relations matters
  • Represent SmartBank as a brand ambassador within the community
  • Open consumer and business accounts and support lending activities as needed
  • Perform key frontline responsibilities to support the team and client experience
  • Actively contribute to the success of the branch as both a leader and a producer
  • Coach, mentor, and develop a high-performing team focused on delivering outstanding client experiences
  • Provide ongoing performance feedback, conduct reviews, and support associate growth
  • Foster a positive, accountable, and engaging team culture
