The Bank at Work Relationship Manager partners with internal stakeholders to deliver sales activities and results for designated retail sales programs/products. This role acts as the market expert for retail sales programs/products to grow market share, establishing strong working relationships within the designated market and participating in joint sales calls and team meetings. The manager identifies and refers business opportunities to key partners, including Commercial Banking and Wealth Management, to deliver holistic client solutions. For U.S. only, this position acts as an originator of consumer loans, requiring Federal registration with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry, and involves a criminal background review and credit history evaluation. Key responsibilities include developing and executing a market business plan, representing retail sales programs at events, generating appointments, prioritizing client pipelines, and managing regional retail sales programs to maximize client opportunities. The role involves developing solutions, making recommendations for program design changes, providing strategic input to senior leaders, and acting as a subject matter expert on regulations and policies. The manager also develops business cases, establishes partnerships, analyzes data for insights, defines business requirements for analytics, coordinates database management, monitors performance, designs reports, leads change management programs, develops communication strategies, executes operational programs, designs/manages core business processes, plans operating expenses, and manages information systems. Furthermore, the role involves providing input to marketing strategies, identifying improvements for sales activities, delivering a positive customer experience, building stakeholder relationships, supporting strategic initiatives, conducting independent analysis, operating at an enterprise-wide level, applying creative expertise to complex problems, and implementing changes in response to trends. The position also requires applying the Risk Management Framework in line with the bank's Risk Culture and approved Risk Appetite.
