About The Position

The Roof Truss Bander’s primary responsibility is to band bundles of roof trusses for Clayton Home Building Facilities. This role requires the individual to correctly place band boards and bands to ensure trusses are tightly banded, safely operate the bander machine, and cut band boards to size. The bander will work to band trusses together in a timely manner and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent; or equivalent experience.
• Must be able to read a tape measurer.
• Must have a passion for quality and be naturally attentive to details.
• Must be reliable and able to work at an efficient pace.
• Demonstrates honesty and integrity.
• Has a strong work ethic.
• Displays a great attitude and models teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Correctly place band boards and bands to ensure trusses are tightly banded.
• Safely operate bander machine.
• Cut band boards to size.
• Band trusses together in timely manner.
• Other duties as assigned.
