About The Position

Instruct and train students of various ages and skill levels in the classical art form of ballet, emphasizing technical precision, grace, and artistic expression. Design and implement class lessons by communicating and physically demonstrating required technique and combinations, following an existing syllabi or artistic direction. Observe students to determine physical and artistic qualifications and limitations, providing constructive feedback and class placement recommendations each semester. Prepare students for performances, showcases, and recitals, while fostering a safe, inclusive, and disciplined learning environment.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

• Professional performing experience or an Associate's or Bachelor's degree (or professional equivalency) in Dance or a related field.
• Bachelor's degree in Dance or Dance Education and a valid teaching certification (typically required to teach in public or private K-12 schools).
• Professional qualification or certification from a recognized dance awarding organization.
