About The Position

Ensemble Schools is seeking experienced ballet instructors to teach preschool and ballet classes at Pointe of Grace in Katy, TX. The studio focuses on providing quality instruction in a safe and positive environment, aiming to develop important life skills in students alongside dance technique. The role involves delivering engaging, in-person lessons and contributing to the dance community. Classes are held on Tuesdays from 4:45pm to 8:45pm and Saturdays from 9:00am to 11:00am.

Requirements

Solid foundation in ballet.
Strong background in dance through educational, teaching, and/or performing experience.
Genuine love for teaching and experience working with young dancers.
Reliable transportation.
Pass a routine background check.
Dependability, professionalism, enthusiasm, punctuality, and friendliness.

Nice To Haves

Enthusiastic and vibrant personality for engaging young dancers.
Post-secondary dance training experience such as a certificate or degree in dance performance, education, or related fields (not mandatory but a plus).

Responsibilities

Instruct group classes in multiple styles, teaching technique and cultivating a love of dance.

Choreograph dances for recitals.
Showcase a strong background in dance through educational, teaching, and/or performing experience.
