About The Position

Ensemble Schools is seeking experienced Ballet and/or Contemporary dance instructors for The Dance Factory, a growing studio in Fairfield, California. The role involves providing quality instruction in a safe, in-person environment and contributing to a vibrant dance community. The Dance Factory focuses on developing important life skills in students, going beyond just dance technique. The schedule for ballet classes includes Ballet 1/2 on Wednesdays from 4:00-4:50 PM and pre-ballet on Wednesdays from 5:00-5:45 PM.

Post-secondary dance training experience such as a certificate or degree in dance performance, education, or related fields (not mandatory but a plus)

Responsibilities

Instructing students in ballet and/or contemporary techniques across various skill levels
Developing and implementing lesson plans for improving skills
Choreographing dances for recitals
Showcasing a strong background in dance through educational, teaching, and/or performing experience
Demonstrate a genuine love for teaching and experience working with young dancers
Provide reliable transportation and pass a routine background check
