Bakery Team Lead - Full Time Evening
About The Position
We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated leader to join our Bakery team! The DLM Bakeries feature wonderfully decadent desserts and traditional European breads all Made Right Here in the DLM Bakehouse. Our incredible teams work to deliver an exceptional shopping experience through expert product knowledge and outstanding customer service. In this role, you’ll support department operations and team building by driving these standards. The evening team lead will be responsible for overseeing department operations during the evening business hours. Shifts typically run 2pm - 10pm with at least one weekend night required. Applicant must have strong communication skills, excellent customer service, and be energetic, excited, and eager to learn about the department and company. Applicants must also be able to prioritize tasks and delegate accordingly. Above all else, we’re looking for someone who will lead by example and have a desire to serve those they lead.
Requirements

- Effective communication skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- A good working understanding of DLM’s operations and a passion for our company culture.
- Previous customer service and leadership experience.
- Organization skills.
- 18 years old or older.
- Holiday and weekend schedule availability.
- Willingness to work a variety of shifts.
Responsibilities
- Serve customers with enthusiasm and expertise.
- Assist in managing day-to-day operations during the evening hours.
- Assist in training new evening associates.
- Assist with the management of inventory, shrink, and ordering.
- Delegate tasks to the evening team.
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations.
- Package and label product with care.
- Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the department.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
