About The Position

As the Bakery Production Associate, you'll bring delicious desserts to life in our specialized manufacturing facility. You’ll craft mouthwatering cheesecakes and layered cakes for over 200 The Cheesecake Factory restaurants, as well as external clients.

Requirements

  • Must have at least 6 months of manufacturing experience.
  • Ability to work up to 40 hours per week.
  • Comfortable standing for 8–9 hours during a shift.
  • Able to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
  • A strong focus on safety at all times.
  • Willingness to work occasional overtime, including some Saturdays.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and continuously bend, reach, and twist.
  • Able to read, understand, and follow instructions in English.
  • Comfortable working in a range of temperatures, from warm to cool to cold.
  • A positive attitude and a smile to bring to work each day

Responsibilities

  • Preparing pans and inserts with precision according to recipes.
  • Adding crumbs and batter into pans, following baking instructions.
  • Double-checking that all extra ingredients are mixed in according to recipe.
  • Setting up cake layers with care and expertise, following guidelines for each cake type.
  • Taking cakes out of pans, removing liners and collars, and following topping instructions.
  • Utilizing depositing machines to add icing and spread it with finesse, fixing any cracks.
  • Skillfully stacking the cakes on pallets.
  • Finishing and decorating cakes on the production line, following unique guidelines.
  • Preparing cakes for debut by removing them from pans, taking off liners and collars, and replacing cake circles.
  • Applying icing on the top and sides of each cake, following specifications.
  • Elevating cakes with side crunch and decorative toppings.
  • Repairing or replacing slices when necessary, applying shipping collars, and wrapping each cake.
  • Packing and boxing cakes, ready for distribution.
