This includes championing corporate and division customer service programs, planning and directing daily operations, and overseeing all bakery duties such as proofing, baking, decorating, slicing, and packaging fresh bakery products. The manager is responsible for implementing promotional displays, preventing shrink, controlling expenses, and maintaining accurate records. They will also manage inventory, ensure product quality and merchandising standards, and handle customer relations, including special orders and suggestive selling. Additionally, the role involves ensuring cleanliness and sanitation, implementing emergency procedures, supervising and training department personnel, communicating sales goals, and ensuring compliance with all company policies and procedures. The manager must also handle associate complaints and report potential policy violations to the Store Director.
