About The Position

85°C Bakery Cafe is hiring for its Store Management Team. This role involves leading all aspects of store operations, including customer service, cost management, and training. The company, founded in 2004, is a global bakery and beverage retail business with over 1,000 stores worldwide, known for providing high-quality pastries and drinks at affordable prices. The management team is responsible for the business performance of their stores, ensuring sales profitability through service excellence and lean operations. This includes preparing reports, organizing employee shifts, participating in meetings, and maintaining quality control and safety standards.

Requirements

  • Minimum of two (2) years progressive experience in fast food or other related food operations, at leadership level position
  • Strong organizational, communications and leadership skills
  • Ability to multitask and work with tight deadline to meet new or changing demands
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Excel
  • Good attendance and available to work overtime when needed
  • Excellent work ethic and teamwork concepts
  • Adapt and demonstrate thorough understanding of the 85°C concept
  • Available to work on weekends and holidays
  • Employees must have sufficient strength to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position including moderate lifting (up to 50 pounds), walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, and squatting.
  • This position requires nearly continuous standing and walking, repetitive hand motions, and reaching overhead.
  • Employees may be exposed to unusual elements including extreme temperatures of coolers and freezers.

Responsibilities

  • Take essential responsibility for the business performance of their respective stores
  • Ensure sales profitability through service excellence and lean operation
  • Prepare periodic report, to include sales control, employee scheduling, etc.
  • Organize and supervise the employee shifts
  • Participate in management and personnel meetings
  • Check stock levels and order supplies and materials
  • Maintain high standards of quality control, hygiene, and health & safety
  • Additional duties at store when circumstances dictate
  • Cross train in each department including: Bread, Cake, POS, Bar
