About The Position

Overnight Bakery Helper Clerks prepare, portion, package and label baked goods and prepared foods. They provide excellent, professional customer service when needed.

Requirements

Available to work the overnight shift, including weekends
Must have excellent attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Basic math skills for measurement and scale functions
Excellent communication skills
Must be able to meet physical requirements of standing, twisting, bending, repetitive motion, and lifting 10-40lbs regularly
A current Food Worker Card from the Washington State Department of Health is required
Must be at least 18 years of age
Proven ability to perform excellent, professional customer service

Nice To Haves

Previous food preparation experience preferred

Responsibilities

Baking off cookies, scones, and other items from the commissary
Packaging and retail merchandising for the deli and bakery items
Perform basic food preparation in accordance with PCC recipes
Rotating product on the retail shelves, back room, freezer, and cooler
Setting the bake case with product and proper signage
Unloading incoming orders from the commissary and labeling items
Ensures department sanitation, cleanliness, and safety standards are met
Becomes knowledgeable about deli products, specialty foods, baked goods, and prepared foods
Provides excellent, professional customer service
