About The Position

High volume bakery is seeking a team-oriented candidate for the Delivery Driver position. Candidate must be willing to work weekdays/nights, weekends and/or holidays. Experience with operating a refrigerator box truck a plus. Candidate must have a valid drivers’ license and acceptable motor vehicle record.

Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Effectively handle and carry large fragile cakes
• Shift hours may fluctuate
• Ability to read maps and follow directions is mandatory
• Ability to work effectively under time constraints and deadlines
• Must possess a friendly and professional demeanor
• Must be fluent in English
• Valid driver's license
• Acceptable motor vehicle record

Nice To Haves

• Experience with operating a refrigerator box truck

Responsibilities

• Drive to various locations for baked goods delivery
• Properly load/unload goods at the designated area
• Must obey all motor vehicle laws
• Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis
• Travel between company locations for pickups/drop offs as needed
• Other duties as assigned
