Responsible for offering extraordinary customer service. This role involves immediately greeting all customers, responding to inquiries, fulfilling special requests, and effectively resolving complaints. The position also requires soliciting sales of new or additional services/products by educating customers and offering suggestions. Key tasks include taking customer orders, preparing food items like cookies, pies, and brownies, serving food/beverages/pastries, and wrapping/labeling items for customer orders. The role also involves reviewing orders for completeness, placing special orders if items are out of stock, replenishing demos and display cases, and adhering to safety, health, and security rules. Additionally, the position supports the company's guiding principles and vision, maintains a professional image, ensures a safe and clean working environment, and complies with all regulatory rules and regulations including HACCP, OSHA, Dept. of Labor, Weights and Measures, and local food and sanitation laws. Regular and predictable attendance is essential, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including holidays and weekends is required.
