About The Position

Cornerstone Co-op invites applications for the position of Bakery Clerk to join our Bakery team on a part-time basis at our location in St. Paul AB. Reporting to the Bakery Manager. We need you to lead outstanding Co-op experiences.

Requirements

Able to lift, push, pull and carry up to 50 lbs. Loads exceeding 50 lbs will be managed with lifting equipment or assistance in accordance with safety guidelines.
Able to stand and move throughout your shift, including walking, bending, and reaching while staying active with tasks such as assisting customers, unloading freight and stocking shelves.
Action oriented, customer focused and work well on your own.
Can handle competing deadlines and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Honest, trustworthy, results-oriented, and strive to be the best in what you do.
Believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver meaningful solutions, valuing diverse perspectives to meet shared objectives.

Responsibilities

Package, price and merchandise bakery products.
Fulfill customer orders and provide customer service at bakery counter.
Follow opening, closing and cleaning procedures.
Follow safety procedures at all times.
Resolve customer issues and answer questions.
Follow department standards for stock rotation, including First In First Out (FIFO).
Work a variety of shifts, including days, weekends, and holidays.
Demonstrate day-to-day behaviours and actions that align with and strengthen the Co-operative’s vision, mission, values and focus on safety.
Perform other duties as assigned to support team operations and customer service initiatives.
