This role keeps our bakery running smoothly—helping customers choose the right goodies, keeping the case neat and tempting, and making sure items are packaged, labeled, and checked out accurately.

Requirements

Must be 18+ to use the bread slicer
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and juggle multiple tasks
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs.
Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays

Bakery or grocery experience preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

Help shoppers with bakery choices, including ingredient and product questions
Keep the bakery displays clean, organized, stocked, and correctly labeled
Package and prep baked goods for sale
Ring up purchases with friendly, careful accuracy
Support daily bakery operations, including inventory help and product rotation
Giving the case a quick once-over—straighten trays, refresh labels, and make sure everything looks “grab me.”
Chat through ingredient questions, point out favorites, and box up breads, cookies, and cakes without missing a beat.
Ringing up orders, keeping the counter tidy, and helping the team restock what’s flying off the shelves.
Check what’s running low, rotate product so it stays fresh, and keep the display easy to shop.
Do a final reset—clean, organized, and ready for the next wave of sweet cravings.
