About The Position
United Markets is looking for a Part-time Bakery Clerk at their Greenbrae location. The ideal candidate will be customer service-oriented and adaptable to various daily tasks. This role involves assisting with merchandise, stocking shelves, packaging products, taking special orders, decorating cakes, and baking as needed. The position requires a passion for baking and the ability to provide exceptional customer service. Candidates must be 18 years or older and available for a variety of shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and some holidays. Local candidates only.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Decorate cakes, cupcakes, cookies, and other bakery products according to company standards and customer requests.
- Ability to give exceptional customer service.
- Passion for baking.

Responsibilities
- Assist in receiving and unloading of merchandise, check products for quality, count and condition.
- Keep ingredients and merchandise rotated in accordance with company policy.
- Take inventory and stock products on shelf areas.
- Wrap, package and price product accurately.
- Answer phones and take special orders.
- Decorate cakes as needed.
- Bake as needed throughout the day and keep all display racks stocked.
- Greet all customers and provide exceptional customer service.
