About The Position

This is a part-time position for a Bakery Associate. The role involves maintaining shelves and display cases, packaging and pricing products, fulfilling customer orders with excellent service, and managing inventory. The associate will also be responsible for setting up bakery items, rotating stock, removing expired products, and maintaining product knowledge. A regular cleaning and sanitation program is essential, and associates are expected to refer customer issues to a manager. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Requirements

• Friendly personality and “customer service” mentality.
• Good mathematic skills to operate scales & computers and to coordinate dates for inventory rotation.
• Good verbal and written communications skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain presentable and adequately filled shelves and display cases.
• Wrap, package and price all products accurately and legibly.
• Fill customer orders as requested, provided exceptional customer service.
• Remove products from freezer when instructed.
• Set up and put out bakery items for use by baker.
• Rotate products and remove out-of-code items.
• Maintain knowledge of all products sold within the department.
• Maintain a regular cleaning and sanitation program.
• Refer unusual or difficult customer problems to a manager for prompt attention.
• Perform other duties as directed or required by company policies.
