About The Position

We are seeking a dependable, customer-focused Bakery Associate to join our team. This role is responsible for preparing, packaging, merchandising, and maintaining fresh bakery products while ensuring exceptional product quality, food safety, and customer service. This position plays an important role in supporting the success of our Bakery Department and delivering an exceptional experience for our customers.

Requirements

Previous experience in a bakery, grocery store, food service, or retail environment preferred.
Knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation practices preferred.
Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

Package, label, and organize bakery products for display and sale.
Bake fresh bread and other bakery items according to company recipes and quality standards.
Decorate pastries, cakes, and other baked goods as assigned.
Stock, merchandise, and maintain attractive bakery displays.
Monitor product freshness and rotate inventory to ensure quality.
Provide friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient customer service.
Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area in accordance with food safety standards.
Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
Other duties as assigned.
