Madden’s is currently seeking a Bakery Assistant who is a passionate, hardworking individual that is interested in mastering and learning the skill of baking. Previous experience is not required but is desired – you will be supported with training and mentorship to success.

Requirements

Basic math skills: ability to understand, calculate and follow recipe measurements and proportions.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of attention to detail.
Ability to follow procedures and take directions, work as a team player.
Ability to work flexible hours, including early morning, weekends, and holidays.
Good multi-tasking skills
Great time management skills.

Nice To Haves

Previous baking experience helpful.
High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform baking tasks as assigned by Pastry Chef.
Cleans, sanitizes, and restocks to ensure all baking supplies are prepared for the following day.
Effectively utilizes measuring instruments, commercial-grade mixers, and ovens.
Assists the Pastry Chef in mixing, scooping and all baking procedures involved with creating Madden’s quality baked goods.
Follow recipes portion sizes and quality standards.
Ensure all recipes and orders are executed at the highest possible standards of accuracy and in a timely manner.
Will need to deliver baked items to resort outlets.
Regular and reliable attendance.
Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
Helps load and unload supplies and products.
All other duties as assigned.
