About The Position

Partner with the GM to lead a great store and a great team. At 85°C Bakery Cafe, we bring together the craft of baking and a genuine passion for hospitality. We're a global bakery cafe known for our fresh-baked breads, signature cakes, and specialty drinks — and we're growing across the U.S. We believe great teams build great stores, and we grow our leaders from within. As an Assistant Store Manager, you're the General Manager's right hand — driving sales and profitability, developing the team, and stepping in as the leader on duty when the GM is out. You'll help run the business while upholding our standards for quality, service, and cleanliness.

Requirements

2+ years of store or restaurant management experience.
High school diploma required.
Experience supervising 10+ team members.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Full-time availability, including holidays, nights and weekends.
moderate lifting (up to 50 pounds), walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, and squatting.
nearly continuous standing and walking, repetitive hand motions, and reaching overhead.

Nice To Haves

AA degree in Business, Hospitality, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

Partner with the General Manager to drive store sales, profitability, and guest satisfaction.
Lead, coach, and develop the team; serve as manager-on-duty when the GM is away.
Help manage store financials (P&L), labor, and inventory.
Champion the highest standards of quality, service, and cleanliness.
Support recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing training of the team.
