About The Position

At Bruegger’s, we’ve been kettle cooking our bagels and serving tradition you can taste for over 35 Years! We are committed to serving genuine, New York-style bagels and real, made-in-Vermont cream cheese. We are also committed to work-life balance for our team, with stores closing at 2pm, ensuring no evening or night shifts. We are looking for a Baker, as the quality of our bagels depends on the person who bakes them. Bakers arrive early, as early as 3AM, to prepare the bagels. This role involves making people's mornings and offers opportunities for career growth.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years or older
• Must be able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to work varied hours/days as business dictates including early hours (as early as 3am depending on the restaurant) and weekends
• Must be able to pass background check as applicable with local, state, and federal law

Nice To Haves

• Possession of a current, valid, state issued driver’s license (always preferred but only required at specific locations)

Responsibilities

• Ensure quality product is available each shift by stocking the bagel wall and pastry case
• Work as a team to provide excellent guest service by helping with order taking, sandwich making, etc.
• Ensure the quality of the food and beverages served
• Keep a safe and clean store environment
