About The Position

At Einstein Bros. Bagels, the Baker is a crucial team member responsible for baking bagels fresh daily, ensuring quality products are available each shift, and contributing to a positive guest experience. Bakers arrive early, sometimes as early as 3 AM, to prepare the bagels and stock the bagel wall and pastry case. The role also involves working as part of a team to provide excellent guest service, which includes order taking and sandwich making, while maintaining a safe and clean store environment. The company emphasizes work-life balance, with stores closing at 2 PM, meaning no evening or night shifts.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years or older
• Must be able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to work varied hours/days as business dictates including early hours (as early as 3am depending on the restaurant) and weekends
• Must be able to pass background check as applicable with local, state, and federal law
• Possession of a current, valid, state issued driver’s license (only required at specific locations)

Responsibilities

• Ensure quality product is available each shift by stocking the bagel wall and pastry case

• Bake bagels fresh daily
