Culinary Services at the College of Saint Benedict invites applications for a full-time (0.75 FTE), benefit-eligible position of Baker. $1,000 sign-on bonus valid through August 31, 2026. Terms applied to sign-on bonus can be provided by hiring manager. The Baker supports residential dining, catering, and retail programs by preparing high-quality baked goods and providing excellent customer service. Reporting to the Director of Bakery Operations, the Baker designs, executes, and improves recipes; performs quality checks on ingredients and finished products; and enhances product presentation using icing, glazes, fillings, and decorations. The Baker also processes customer orders, greets customers, and answers questions as needed. Additional responsibilities include cleaning workstations and equipment and performing other duties necessary to maintain a well-stocked, smoothly operating bakery and ensure customer satisfaction.
