Good Foods Co-op is a community-owned natural foods grocery dedicated to providing high-quality, local, and sustainable products. We’re looking for a Baker who enjoys working with quality ingredients, takes pride in their craft, and wants to be part of a team that cares about the food we make and the people we serve.

Requirements

Previous food service experience (required)
Has an interest in natural, organic foods and local products
Is available to work early morning shifts and weekends
High School diploma or equivalent.
Very strong work ethic and demonstrable attention to detail. Must be a fast, focused, and hardworking person.
Experience working with the public.
Availability – Must be available to work as scheduled including early mornings and weekends.

Previous baking or food service experience preferred.

Experience with diverse cultures and backgrounds preferred.

Responsibilities

Preparing baked goods from scratch, including muffins, cookies, cakes, and breads
Keeping the bakery well-stocked, organized, and inviting for customers
Maintaining clean, safe, and efficient workspaces
Following food safety and sanitation standards
Providing friendly, helpful service and creating a welcoming experience for our customers
Assisting with receiving and organizing products and ingredients
Supporting inventory and minimizing waste
