About The Position
Do you love freshly baked goods and have practical baking experience? Nugget Markets is looking for dedicated bakers to join our talented and passionate bakery team! This is a full time position that suits someone with experience working in a fast paced environment in the early morning hours as shifts start as early as 3:00am. Individual associate hourly rates are based on factors including experience, location, and length of employment.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must possess basic math skills
- Must have intermediate product knowledge including knowledge of temperature, chemical reactions, and bakery products
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 50lbs
- Basic understanding of the English language, which includes the ability to communicate and read basic instructions, schedules and signage
- Excellent customer service skills
- A positive attitude is essential!
Responsibilities
- Baking, merchandising and packaging goods such as bagels, croissants, cookies and other pastries.
- Loading carts and racks with product.
- Lifting and stacking flour.
- Operating all kitchen machinery including ovens, proofers, and mixers.
- Maintaining a clean, sanitary and attractive work environment.
- Assisting the bakery clerks.
- Providing world-class service to our guests as needed.
