About The Position

Join the Loyola University Dining Team as a Baker! We're seeking an experienced baker with a passion for scratch baking and high-quality production. The ideal candidate has experience in a high-volume, professional baking environment and is skilled in scaling ingredients, mixing doughs and batters, proofing, and producing a variety of baked goods from scratch. Requirements

Experience in a high-volume, professional baking environment.
Skilled in scaling ingredients, mixing doughs and batters, proofing, and producing a variety of baked goods from scratch.
Pride in craftsmanship, consistency, and delivering exceptional products.
Standing and/or walking - 100% of time.
Occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs

Responsibilities

Prepare all baked goods daily according to Parkhurst recipes, maintaining correct portion sizes.
Ensure the quality and freshness of all baked goods, producing them to meet specifications.
Determine the quantity of all baked goods to be produced, utilizing production sheets.
Maintain standards for baked goods presentation.
Distribute all products to proper areas of service.
