Requirements

Proven experience as a baker or pastry chef in a commercial setting
Knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment
Ability to follow recipes accurately and adapt to new recipes
Strong attention to detail and quality control
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team

Food safety certification is a plus

Responsibilities

Prepare and bake a variety of baked goods including pies, muffins, breads, cakes, and cookies according to established recipes and quality standards
Ensure all baked products are prepared in a timely manner to meet customer demand
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations
Monitor ingredient inventory and communicate needs for restocking
Assist in developing new recipes and product offerings to keep the menu fresh and appealing
Operate baking equipment safely and efficiently
Ensure consistent quality and presentation of all baked goods
