About The Position

The Baker RA Supervisor is responsible for ensuring contract compliance, maintaining equipment, managing inventory, and supervising staff in lawn and restroom maintenance. This role involves maintaining daily logs, scheduling employees, managing budgets, and fostering a positive and safe working environment. The supervisor must ensure all tools and chemicals are stored safely and promote compliance with safety regulations and association rules.

Requirements

  • Valid State of Fl Driver’s License with safe driving record
  • Meet State of Fl Department of Children & Families for Good Moral Character.
  • High School diploma
  • Good supervisory and communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • Prefer two years supervisory experience in janitorial maintenance
  • Prefer experience in landscape maintenance and custodial service

Responsibilities

  • Ensure scope of contracts are maintained in order to maintain contract compliance.
  • Maintain equipment and ensure preventative maintenance is practiced including training employees.
  • Maintain inventory of supplies needed for contact performance.
  • Supervise, train, and assist workers in Lawn Maintenance (raking, mowing, edging, fertilizing, ect.).
  • Supervise, train, and assist workers in Rest Room Maintenance (sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, window cleaning, fixture cleaning, ect.).
  • Maintain daily logs, payroll, data, checklist, or any other records as required by the Operations Manager.
  • Promptly report to work and begin work, as scheduled.
  • Ensure and maintain availability to all employees regardless of shift.
  • Schedule employee working hours to ensure required number of employees per shift, per contact specifications.
  • Exercise budget management to minimize spending and to maximize contract revenue.
  • Demonstrate a friendly and positive attitude toward employees, staff, and the general public.
  • Create a professional working atmosphere creating positive employee morale, increase motivation, and promote independent functioning of all employees.
  • Ensure all tools, equipment, and chemicals are safely stored in designated place.
  • Ensure that safety comes first during all work operations.
  • Promote compliance with Association rules and regulations.
  • Work toward a consistent team approach with all Association staff.
  • Other duties as assigned.
