About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Baker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for baking, a strong understanding of food preparation techniques, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and presentation. Please note, this position will be required to work some nights and weekends.

Requirements

  • Basic knowledge of baking techniques and food safety practices with at least 2 years experience in a baking environment
  • Ability to follow recipes and production schedules accurately
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Good organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service skills are a plus

Responsibilities

  • Follow production guidelines for all departments, including Bakery, Catering, and Commissary
  • Prepare baked goods and food items according to established recipes, brand standards, and health and safety regulations
  • Demonstrate knowledge of baking methods, cooking techniques, and general food preparation
  • Accurately measure ingredients by volume and weight to ensure consistency and quality
  • Evaluate food quality and readiness through tasting and visual inspection
  • Set up and break down workstations efficiently before and after shifts
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workspace, including all equipment and utensils
  • Use correct portions when baking, preparing, and serving items
  • Ensure all baked goods are attractively presented and properly displayed
  • Serve bakery items to customers and provide helpful information about products
