About The Position

As a Baker and Packager Associate at Sam's Club, you will prepare fresh bakery products for members by following recipes, make-up instructions, and company standards. You will wrap, label, and store merchandise to preserve freshness and meet food safety and Cold Chain requirements, while supporting quality and date control, reducing waste, and securing fragile and high-shrink items. The role also involves using handheld technology for production planning, inventory, and ordering; assisting members with bakery orders and other club needs; maintaining clean, organized, stocked work areas and displays; and safely operating, maintaining, and sanitizing baking equipment. You will collaborate with associates and may flexibly support other areas as needed. The position is part of the founding team at Sam's Club's new Weslaco location, where associates will help establish the member experience and club culture. The work is fast-paced and high-volume, requires standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 pounds, and involves flexible scheduling including weekends and holidays. Applicants must be at least 18 and complete required training and assessments within the prescribed period. The hourly wage range is $17.00 to $25.00, with possible premiums of $0.35 to $3.00 per hour in specified circumstances.

Responsibilities
